Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • 5 years of experience with virtualization services (Proxmox, VMware or similar) and HCI (VxRail, vSAN or similar).
  • Experience in scripting/coding (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).
Preferred qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience with systems automation, and with systems design and implementation.
  • Experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting), and with reliability of technical infrastructure.
  • Experience with Python/Go for scripting and automation.

Systems Development Engineering (SDE) at Google is a role where you manage services and systems at scale. Responsibilities:
  • Build and support manufacturing IT infrastructure ensuring 24/7 uptime of services at manufacturing sites across the globe.
  • Work cross-functionally and globally with stakeholder teams across our partner network, devices, services and Google.
  • Design, test, implement and maintain changes/additions to Google Cloud infrastructure across devices and services.
  • Execute and run autonomously but know when to escalate to ask for assistance.
