About the Role:

Reporting to the development Team Leader, the employee will bring a valuable collaboration in the system architecture, design pattern, programming and testing of the content acquisition services.

Technical leadership, strong interest in software quality and knowledge of best practices on UI / UX are expected from the employee.

In collaboration with other team members, the incumbent will work on challenging projects, integrating advanced web technologies. You will participate in the elaboration, analysis and functionality development of a state-of-the-art front end web application. The content validation tools are key components of the content platform with the ability to author efficiently content to be used in various application context.

Vision

Working closely with product management, content authors and content acquisition teams, the content validation team is responsible for providing world class validation tools to support all domains for Cyncly content including commercial definition, engineering, pricing and graphical representation.

Working with various content formats and different levels of content granularity, they are responsible for exposing content validation capabilities for the various content used in the market including the various content definition used by Cyncly applications.

Mission

Create a role-based application to support the various levels of content granularity to be exposed in Cyncly applications up to the extent of partners applications context.

The content validation must be built with performance in mind. A key differentiator in the market is to release content as fast as possible so Manufacturer and Retailers gets a better ROI on their content offering.

The team will be responsible for being critical at every component that gets built to create content to make sure productivity is always considered as the most important factor along with ease of use.

The team provides high standards of user interface, user flows and documentation. They are responsible for making the Cyncly content platform format shine, exposed in its most simplified form for all domains.

Key Position Responsibilities Include:

• Build modern front-end solution with best practices.
• Build reusable front-end code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of proposed UI/UX designs.
• Participate in stress tests, load tests, performance tests, making recommendations to improve performance and scalability.
• Prepare software packages and documentation for deployment that adhere to the defined standard deployment policies.
• Be highly responsive to critical production issues providing timely and effective solutions.
• Collaborate to help team members in the development lifecycle.
• Perform the duties according to timelines.
• Participate in team meetings.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in web programming.
• Deep knowledge of DOM, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with typescript.
• High expertise in ReactJS development.
• Experience with software source code management (GIT).
• Experience with front end build system (e.g.: Webpack, Vite).
• Proficiency at doing code review of peers.
• Experience with unit test framework (e.g.: Jest)
• Experience with defining architecture for large scales front end project (security, reliability, performance).
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure) is good to have.
• Orchestration pattern using Azure is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile (scrum) methodologies – Asset.
• Understanding of 3D geometries – Asset.
• Knowledge of NodeJS and Electron is a plus.
• Development experience in Microsoft development environment is good to have.
