Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Azure DevOps Architect to lead our DevOps initiatives and drive automation, scalability, and reliability across our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, CI/CD pipeline architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration. This role involves designing end-to-end DevOps solutions, mentoring teams, and ensuring best practices are followed across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Design and automate infrastructure using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Lead integration of tools like Git, SonarQube, Docker, and Kubernetes into DevOps workflows.
  • Define and manage Azure services including App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Storage, and Key Vault.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting frameworks using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategies with business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Define branching strategies, source control standards, and development workflows.
  • Maintain architectural documentation and CI/CD process guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 10 + years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in an architect role.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps and Azure cloud architecture.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools: ARM Templates, Terraform, Bicep.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of Git and version control practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent.
  • Experience in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
