Job Title: Principal – Whitecaps Culinary Education Pvt Ltd

Reports to: Directors
Job Summary: The Principal will serve as the academic and operational head of Whitecaps Culinary Education Pvt Ltd, responsible for driving excellence in culinary education, leading faculty and students, managing institutional operations, and promoting the school's growth and reputation in the culinary industry. The role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and deep expertise in culinary arts and education management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Leadership
Oversee curriculum design, development, and delivery across all culinary and pastry programs.
Ensure curriculum aligns with international culinary standards and industry requirements. Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and assessment techniques.
Regularly review academic programs to maintain competitiveness and relevance.
- Faculty & Student Management
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and culinary trainers.
Conduct professional development and training sessions for faculty.
Monitor student performance, progression, and placement outcomes.
Promote a culture of discipline, creativity, and innovation among students.
- Operational & Administrative Oversight
Manage day-to-day academic and administrative operations.
Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning for academic activities.
Ensure infrastructure, kitchen labs, and facilities comply with safety and hygiene standards.
Develop and enforce institutional policies, codes of conduct, and operational guidelines.
- Industry & External Relations
Build partnerships with hotels, restaurants, resorts, and international culinary organizations.
Organize guest lectures, masterclasses, culinary competitions, and exchange programs.
Facilitate internships, industry projects, and global exposure for students.
Enhance the institution's brand through media presence and public engagement.
- Strategic Planning & Growth
Contribute to long-term institutional strategy, expansion, and program diversification.
Launch new courses, certifications, and niche culinary programs.
Represent the institution at national and international culinary forums and conferences.
Promote research, publications, and innovative practices within culinary education.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and accreditation standards.
Monitor academic audits, student/faculty feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Uphold the highest standards of food safety, sustainability, and ethical practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in culinary education, including 5+ years in a leadership/administrative role.
Proven track record of curriculum development and academic leadership.
Strong industry connections and experience in forging partnerships.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
