Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and tune databases to provide a high availability service.
  • Manage multiple RDBMS on large systems.
  • Implement and manage RAC and Goldengate solutions.
  • Monitor database performance and implement necessary changes.
  • Plan and implement ongoing monthly and quarterly maintenance activities, including patching cycles, upgrade cycles, security, and auditing cycles.
  • Perform database backup, recovery, and duplication tasks.
  • Manage physical standby, switchover, and failover processes.
