Role: Trainer – Employability Enhancement Skill Development Program
Location: Dibrugarh University, Assam
Reporting To: Project Manager, Smartskills Bits & Bytes (P) Ltd./ HO Person.
Duration: As per project schedule
Objective: To deliver high-impact skill development sessions that enhance employability, career readiness, and industry alignment for DU students.
Must Proficency in Delivery of Spoken English , Soft Skill and Digital Literacy( IT )
Training Delivery & Facilitation
Conduct structured training sessions as per the approved curriculum and session plans.
- Facilitate interactive, learner-centric modules using blended learning techniques (audio-visuals, role plays, case studies, etc.).
- Ensure coverage of all topics within the allocated time frame while maintaining quality and engagement.
Adapt delivery style to suit diverse learner profiles across departments and disciplines.
Curriculum Adherence & Customization
Follow the prescribed curriculum aligned with Smartskills standards.
- Customize examples and exercises to reflect local industry context and student aspirations.
Integrate career enhancement themes such as resume building, interview skills, workplace etiquette, and digital literacy.
Student Engagement & Motivation
Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Encourage participation through group activities, Q&A, and feedback loops.
Identify and support slow learners or students needing additional guidance.
Assessment & Feedback
Conduct formative and summative assessments as per project guidelines.
- Maintain records of attendance, performance, and feedback for each batch.
Share timely feedback with students and escalate concerns to the Project Manager when needed.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with Project Manager session logistics and student mobilization.
- Submit daily training reports, session photographs, and feedback summaries to Smartskills HO Office and Project Manager.
Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of training delivery.
Compliance & Professional Conduct
Adhere to Smartskills Code of conduct.
- Maintain punctuality, professional attire, and respectful communication always.
Ensure data privacy and confidentiality of student information or any other documents of Smartskills.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging skills, and pedagogical innovations.
- Participate in internal ToT (Training of Trainers) and refresher programs organized by Smartskills.
Share insights and best practices with fellow trainers to foster a culture of excellence.
Asset Management & Administrative Support
Ensure proper handling, upkeep, and security of all computers, training equipment, and digital infrastructure provided at the training venue.
- Take full responsibility for preventing loss, damage, or misuse of any equipment entrusted for training delivery.
- Support administrative tasks including:
§ Data entry and MIS updates as per project requirements
§ Generating and sharing daily/weekly/Monthly training reports
§ Coordinating attendance and feedback documentation
§ Making follow-up or mobilization calls if assigned
Placement Facilitation & Industry Linkages
Actively support the placement of trained candidates by:
- Identifying and engaging with potential employers across relevant sectors
- Facilitating employer tie-ups and maintaining a database of hiring partners
- Visiting employer premises to explore job roles, workplace readiness, and collaboration opportunities
- Coordinating interviews, job fairs, and placement drives in consultation with the Project Manager
- Assist in planning and executing On-the-Job Training (OJT) by:
- Identifying suitable OJT partners and securing tie-ups
- Coordinating logistics and documentation for OJT implementation
- Monitoring trainee performance during OJT and collecting feedback from employers
- Ensure timely reporting of placement outcomes, employer feedback, and OJT progress to the Project Manager and Smartskills HO Team.

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
