About the Role:

We are looking for skilled Biovia Techno-Functional Developers and Architects with strong expertise in Biovia ELN, Pipeline Pilot, and related integrations to drive digital transformation in scientific and laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical proficiency with functional understanding of laboratory processes, ensuring seamless design, implementation, and optimization of Biovia applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement Biovia solutions tailored to scientific and R&D workflows.

Collaborate with scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Configure, customize, and maintain Biovia applications such as ELN, LIMS, and Pipeline Pilot.

Develop and optimize ELN templates, APIs, and scripts to support lab data capture and integration.

Integrate Biovia applications with other enterprise systems (ERP, MES, Data Lakes, etc.) for end-to-end digital continuity.

Provide techno-functional support during Biovia solution rollouts, upgrades, and post-implementation phases.

Troubleshoot complex issues related to Biovia functionality, performance, and integrations.

Lead architecture design and implementation best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation for configurations, workflows, and integrations.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience with Biovia ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) – configuration, customization, and template development.

Strong proficiency in Pipeline Pilot scripting and workflow design.

Working knowledge of APIs, integration frameworks, and data mapping for connecting Biovia with other enterprise systems.

Prior experience in Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences domain – understanding of R&D and laboratory processes.

Good understanding of scientific informatics, data structures, and laboratory data management principles.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Biovia LIMS and Workbench modules.

Knowledge of cloud-based deployments and DevOps frameworks for Biovia.

Exposure to GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements.

Previous experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
