Overview As a Python Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of various Python-based applications and systems. Your expertise in Python programming and related frameworks will be crucial in ensuring the seamless functioning of our software solutions. This position holds significant importance in our organization as it directly impacts the performance and reliability of our tech products.Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop Python-based applications.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and testable code using Python programming language and related frameworks.
  • Integrate data storage solutions, such as databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc., utilizing SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and web services using Django, Flask, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Optimize the performance of the applications and systems by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
  • Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard the applications from potential threats.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and compliance with standards.
  • Document the software and ensure that technical documentation is up to date.
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in Python development and related technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by stakeholders or end-users in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of the applications.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Python Developer or a similar role with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
  • In-depth understanding of Python programming language and its frameworks such as Django, Flask, etc.
  • Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases to design, implement, and optimize data storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for managing and tracking changes in the codebase.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies and their integration with backend logic.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies and tools as per project requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and tasks efficiently.
  • Certifications or additional training in Python and associated technologies would be a plus.
