Job Title: US Tax Analyst (Sales & Corporate Tax)

Summary:

Responsible for compliance with US sales & use tax and corporate income tax regulations. Supports tax filings, reconciliations, audits, and tax accounting to ensure accuracy and minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local sales/use and corporate income tax returns.
  • Reconcile tax accounts and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Manage tax registrations, exemption certificates, and nexus compliance.
  • Assist with tax provision (ASC 740) and related journal entries.
  • Support tax audits, research tax issues, and monitor law changes.
  • Coordinate with external advisors and internal departments to ensure compliance and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA or Master's preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in US indirect and corporate tax.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state tax laws, ERP, and tax software (Avalara, Vertex, Corptax, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
