Role Description

This full-time on-site Toolmaker role is based in Bengaluru North. The Toolmaker will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of tools, jigs, and fixtures. Key responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, operating machining tools such as lathes and mills, inspecting completed tools for accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to meet production specifications and schedules. Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in machining tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and other equipment used in toolmaking
• Skill in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs
• Experience in tool maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams
• Technical diploma or certification in Tool and Die Making or a related field
• Previous experience in toolmaking for the precision engineering industry is a plus
