(Senior) SAP Basis Engineer —> FinTech | Financial Systems | Hybrid -> India, Bangalore AreaAbout the roleJoin a high-scale FinTech environment where SAP powers core finance. You'll design, implement, and troubleshoot robust SAP and adjacent infrastructure, driving reliability, performance, and security across a globally distributed setup.Key responsibilitiesOwn SAP Basis across planning, installation, upgrades, migrations, system copies, tuning, and troubleshooting.Operate and optimize SAP HANA / S/4HANA (incl. Central Finance) and related components (NetWeaver, Fiori, SSO).Evaluate and build interfaces between SAP and external systems; lead DB migrations/upgrades.Manage full stack supporting SAP: OS/Linux, storage, networking, system hardening, backup/DR.Champion risk and compliance frameworks (SOX, NIST, DORA) while enabling safe innovation.Facilitate technical design reviews; ensure scalability, availability, observability, and cost efficiency.Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into stable technical solutions.What you bring7–10+ years SAP Basis administration with proven upgrades/migrations and HANA administration.Strong NetWeaver knowledge; solid DB concepts (HANA + at least one other RDBMS).Hands-on Linux and IP networking; good understanding of storage and Fiori/SSO on SAP.Scripting/development: Bash, Python (ABAP nice to have).Experience in enterprise environments (multi-region, high availability, automation-first).Clear communicator, customer-focused, team player; fluent English.Nice to haveCloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP), IaC/CI-CD (Terraform, Ansible, Git/Jenkins).Observability (Grafana/Prometheus/ELK), security hardening, backup/restore automation.Location & modelHybrid; CET-friendly time zone preferred. Occasional office presence as needed in Bangalore, India
