DKP Recruiter is hiring for a reputed FMCG / Food & Snacks Industry client.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Company: Haldiram (Pratik Food Products)

Location: Ballygunge Phari, Kolkata

Working Days & Hours: 6 Days | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary: Up to ₹25,000 (Net in Hand, negotiable based on interview)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Income Tax, GST Returns, TDS filings, and related statutory compliance.
  • Preparation and posting of debit notes, credit notes, payment entries, and vouchers.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and general ledger accounts.
  • Handle payroll processing along with PF and ESI compliance.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations.
  • Perform timely reconciliation of bank and vendor accounts.
  • Provide management with MIS reports and financial analysis.

Education

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in snacks / FMCG / food processing industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, and payroll compliance.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP or similar accounting software.
  • Exposure to internal audit and financial controls within FMCG/retail preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Immediate joiner or candidates with short notice period preferred.
  • Stable career track record in accounting and compliance roles is essential.
