Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Senior Sales Officer with solid experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in tea or related beverage products. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor relationships, expanding market presence, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the sales operations within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by the Area Sales Manager.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors and retailers to expand market coverage.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
  • Ensure product visibility, availability, and proper merchandising across all retail outlets.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide timely feedback to management.
  • Execute marketing and promotional activities at the ground level in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Ensure effective secondary sales movement and timely collection from trade partners.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, stock statements, and market feedback.
  • Train and support junior sales staff in achieving their individual targets.
  • Adhere to company policies, credit terms, and operational guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales; exposure to the tea or beverage sector will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG distribution systems, retail channels, and territory management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for field sales and customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
