Be in front in our journey
The Parts, Distribution and Logistics organization is globally responsible for managing the flows of spare parts and finished goods to customers. The organization consists of 8 Distribution Centers, 3 Logistic Control Towers, Sourcing, and a manufacturing unit. We are now looking for a new Unit Manager to our DC in Pune which is managing the spare part flows for the Indian market.

As a Unit Manager you will have the full responsibility for the DC Pune operations and is expected to continuously improve the performance together with the warehouse and office functions. You set the bar high when it comes to safety, service, quality and creating new improved ways of working.

Skills
On a personal level
, you need to have genuine interest in people and want to coach, motivate, develop, and help them succeed. You are a team player who knows where and how to influence the organization, your stakeholders and you put the customer first. For this role a close cooperation with Sales and Service is vital so you need to be skilled at establishing relations and relevant networks. To succeed in this role, you need to have an analytical mindset and be an excellent communicator. You know how to organize your work to reach set goals and align the organization towards the objectives. In addition, you possess the following skills:

• Several years of experience from logistics and customer-facing supply chain flows
• Experience of driving projects and successful change management
• At least 5 years' experience as a manager within the supply chain field
• Excellent and professional command of English, both verbal and written
• Lean/Six Sigma competence is meriting but not a requirement

You will be reporting to a manager who is placed in Pune and be part of the global Parts Distribution and Logistics organization. We are a dedicated and professional team, where sparring and challenging each other is important to our daily work. Furthermore, you work in a Distribution team together with 14 people and have 4 white collars direct reported to you.
