About the Opportunity

We operate in the IT Services & Systems Integration sector delivering enterprise infrastructure, managed services, and application platform support to large-scale customers. This on-site role is focused on production Red Hat Linux and middleware operations for mission-critical applications hosted across on-prem and hybrid environments in India.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Operate, harden and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers: install, patch, tune, and upgrade RHEL in production and DR environments.
  • Administer middleware platforms (deploy, configure and manage JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat), including clustering, session replication and application rollouts.
  • Automate routine tasks and deployments using Ansible playbooks and Bash scripts to improve repeatability and reduce MTTR.
  • Monitor system and middleware health; troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions to meet SLAs.
  • Implement security best practices: SELinux contexts, firewall rules, SSL certificate management, and user/authentication integrations (LDAP/AD).
  • Collaborate with application, network and storage teams on capacity planning, performance tuning and release activities; maintain runbooks and change documentation.

Other Qualifications: Proven experience in production Linux & middleware administration; RHCSA/RHCE or equivalent certification preferred. Strong on-call and incident management experience for 24x7 environments. Must be available for on-site shifts in India.
