Position Summary
Safety Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and innovative engineer to join our technical team in the development of self-climbing platform systems, construction methodology, and formwork solutions for complex high-rise and infrastructure projects. This role blends advanced engineering design with practical execution support, contributing directly to our cutting-edge safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and interpret architectural and structural drawings for lift shafts, core walls, and facades.
- Design custom self-climbing platform systems, including:
○ Hydraulic or mechanical lifting mechanisms
○ Anchoring and bracket systems
○ Platform framing, walking decks, and safety rails
- Prepare and deliver:
○ General Arrangement (GA) drawings
○ Detailed 3D models (using SolidWorks or similar tools)
○ Connection and assembly details
○ Structural analysis reports (STAAD Pro, ANSYS, or SolidWorks Simulation)
○ Bill of Materials (BOM) for fabrication
- Collaborate with internal teams including design, fabrication, and site execution to refine and finalize engineering solutions.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant safety codes, load-bearing criteria, and erection standards.
- Support field teams with technical inputs during installation and system commissioning.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D/3D design
- Proficiency in structural analysis using tools like STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS, or SolidWorks Simulation
- Experience in temporary works, formwork design, or construction engineering
- Strong understanding of fabrication, structural steel, and aluminum systems
- Working knowledge of international design codes (EN, AISC, Eurocode, etc.)
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to safety and detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in self-climbing platforms or automated formwork systems
- Familiarity with on-site erection practices for high-rise construction
- Exposure to modular and prefabricated design approaches
