Must Have:

Experience Required:

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.

1–3 years of experience in CAD design (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for AMR components and assemblies (chassis, enclosures, payload platforms).
  • Perform structural and thermal analysis (FEA/CFD) to validate design safety and performance.
  • Create mounting provisions for sensors, LiDARs, batteries, and control modules.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, weight reduction, and service accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with electronics, controls, and production teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems seamlessly.
  • Prepare detailed BOMs, drawings, and assembly documentation.
  • Support prototype fabrication and participate in field testing/iteration cycles.

Skills And Experience:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or Creo.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, DFMA, and GD&T.
  • Experience in sheet metal, plastic, or CNC-based part design.
  • Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and tolerance stack-up.
  • Familiarity with IP-rated enclosure design, vibration damping, and thermal management.
  • Exposure to robotics, EVs, or mobility platforms is a strong plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience designing for Autonomous Robots, AGVs, or AMRs.
  • Hands-on knowledge of rapid prototyping, 3D printing, or sheet metal fabrication.
  • Understanding of sensor packaging, LiDAR mounting, or battery integration.
  • Interest in robot design challenges and real-world prototyping.
