Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative SEO Executive to manage and enhance our online visibility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization, and analytics. You will work closely with our marketing and content teams to ensure Smiles Gastroenterology ranks high for relevant searches and reaches the right audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research to identify valuable search terms related to gastroenterology and related services.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for search engines and user experience.
  • Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities, including meta tag creation, internal linking, backlink acquisition, and site audits.
  • Monitor, track, and report on SEO performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are applied to new and existing content.
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues in coordination with developers.
  • Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging SEO tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, IT, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience (healthcare SEO experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture basics.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
