Duration: 6 Months (Extendable / Convertible to full-time based on performance)

Eligibility:

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
  • Year: Final year students or recently graduated (Freshers preferred)

Job Summary:

The Testing Trainee / Intern Engineer (Mechanical) will assist the testing team in performing mechanical and functional testing of components, assemblies, and products. The role provides hands-on exposure to mechanical testing methods, data collection, analysis, and report preparation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up and conducting mechanical and performance tests on components and systems.
  • Support in preparing test fixtures, instruments, and setups as per testing requirements.
  • Record, analyze, and document test data accurately.
  • Support calibration and maintenance of testing instruments and equipment.
  • Help in preparing technical test reports and presentations.
  • Follow standard testing procedures and maintain safety compliance in the testing lab.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to provide feedback based on testing outcomes.
  • Learn and apply testing standards (ASTM, ISO, BIS, etc.) relevant to the projects.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and testing principles.
  • Familiar with instruments such as UTM, hardness testers, pressure/vibration testers (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn new testing methodologies and tools.
