Accounting Director at ZeroNorth

As our new Accounting Director, you will be at the heart of transforming ZeroNorth's global accounting function. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of our financial data to support our ambitious growth trajectory.

This is a high-impact role where you will champion innovation in financial processes, build a world-class accounting team, and act as a key partner to the CFO Team, ensuring our financial operations are scalable and robust.

Reporting directly to the Global Accounting Director, the Accounting Director will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices, scalable processes, and robust internal controls while managing a team.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the transformation of our global consolidation process to drive efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate and prepare accurate and timely external financial reports and manage the preparation of the Group's financial statements.
• Design and implement forward-thinking accounting policies that enhance transparency and support strategic decision-making. Oversee the global tax strategy and compliance, including defining the transfer pricing policy.
• Manage the relationship with external auditors and coordinate the audit process. Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
• Oversee the global payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing for all employees while ensuring compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies.

Your profile:

• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role.
• Extensive experience in financial consolidation, reporting, audit, tax, and payroll in a multinational, multi-site organization.
• Proven track record of leading and implementing significant accounting transformation projects, including system implementations and process redesigns.
• A natural self-starter with a high-level of attention to detail and outstanding analytical and data management skills.
• Proven experience in managing relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external auditors and tax advisors.
• Proven experience of working with multi-site, multinational organisations across different time-zones.
