Job Role:

Job Role & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive soil analyses using established laboratory protocols, including but not limited to:

  • Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC)
  • Soil pH and Buffer pH
  • Alkalinity
  • Electrical Conductivity (EC)
  • Base Saturation
  • Soil Moisture Content
  • Particle Size Distribution
  • Bulk Density
  • Other relevant soil physical, chemical, and geochemical parameters

Prepare, process, and analyze soil samples on a routine basis, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reproducibility of results

  • Document, interpret, and report analytical results in a clear and structured manner for internal review, research reporting, and external stakeholders

Provide technical support for Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) research, including:

  • Field-based experimental trials
  • Laboratory-scale studies and method development

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control (QC) requirements

  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards, data integrity protocols, and internal quality assurance systems
  • Collaborate closely with the Research & Development (R&D) team to support:
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Preparation of technical reports, research documentation, and publications

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Chemistry/Soil Science or BTech Chemical Engineering or other related degree
  • Basic understanding of soil science or willingness to learn
  • Laboratory skills and attention to detail
  • Good data recording and analysis skills
  • Strong team spirit, communication skills, and ability to work in a dynamic research environment
