Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced
Tech Lead (Java + Microservices + Cloud)
to drive the design and development of enterprise-grade applications in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on expertise in
Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
, and leadership experience in guiding development teams. This role demands ownership, innovation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on
OpenShift (OCP)
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the
    design, development, and deployment
    of Java/Spring Boot-based microservices in a cloud-native setup.
  • Provide
    technical leadership
    and mentorship to the development team, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security, and architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with
    Solution Architects and DevOps Engineers
    to design and manage containerized applications on
    Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)
    .
  • Drive
    end-to-end delivery
    — from requirements gathering and design to development, code review, testing, and deployment.
  • Define and manage
    API specifications, integration patterns
    , and microservices orchestration.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to implement
    CI/CD pipelines
    using ArgoCD, Tekton, or Jenkins.
  • Manage deployments using
    Helm charts and GitOps workflows
    .
  • Monitor and optimize application
    performance, scalability, and reliability
    through observability tools like
    Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki
    .
  • Implement and maintain
    security best practices
    including OAuth, RBAC, and secrets management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years
    of experience in Java application development, with
    4+ years
    in microservices architecture.
  • Strong hands-on skills in
    Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate
    , and
    messaging systems
    (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Proficient in
    containerization (Docker)
    and
    orchestration platforms (Kubernetes / OpenShift)
    .
  • Experience with
    CI/CD tools
    (ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins) and
    Helm
    for cloud-native deployments.
  • Familiarity with
    observability stacks
    – Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager.
  • Deep understanding of
    cloud-native design patterns
    , scalability, fault tolerance, and distributed systems.
  • Exposure to
    security frameworks
    and best practices (OAuth, RBAC, Vault, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
