About The Role
Looking for an Experienced Python Developer (6-8+ years) responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high‑quality backend services and applications using Python and related frameworks. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of features, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using Python and modern frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well‑documented code, following best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Build and optimize data models and integrate with relational and NoSQL databases, design efficient queries and data access layers.
• Implement unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests, own debugging, performance tuning, and reliability improvements in production systems.
• Integrate third‑party services, internal APIs, and data sources, ensuring reliability, security, and observability.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and data teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver features iteratively.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and help uplift overall code quality and engineering practices.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions, proposing improvements for scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.

Work Experience

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience as a Python Developer or Software Engineer, with production systems in a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP, data structures, error handling, and asynchronous programming.
• Solid experience with at least one major web framework such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, including building RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with caching, message queues, and background job processing.
• Good understanding of authentication/authorization, security best practices, and data protection in web applications.
• Proficiency with Git and common workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews) and experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Comfortable with writing automated tests (pytest, unittest) and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to debug complex issues, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

## Nice to have (optional)

• Experience with cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS or GCP), including deployment, monitoring, and logging.
• Exposure to containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying and scaling services.
• Familiarity with data processing and analytics libraries or ecosystems (Pandas, NumPy, Spark) or basic ML workflows.
• Experience with frontend technologies (React, Vue, or basic JavaScript/HTML/CSS) for better end‑to‑end collaboration.

• Experience working in regulated or compliance-heavy environments is a plus.
