Job Title: Professor of EnglishLocation: Subharti University, Meerut Employment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Professor of English to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature, language, and teaching, with a strong record of scholarly research and academic contributions. The candidate should be capable of engaging students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while contributing to curriculum development, departmental activities, and institutional growth.

Qualifications:Essential:Ph. D. in English UGC NET qualification in English (Humanities and Social Sciences)Desirable:A strong record of published research in peer-reviewed journals. Minimum (number) years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution (as per UGC norms).

Proven ability to secure research grants or participate in funded research projects. Key Responsibilities:Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English language and literature. Guide research scholars and supervise Ph. D.

/M.Phil. dissertations. Design curriculum and contribute to academic planning and quality enhancement.

Participate in academic committees, student mentoring, and co-curricular activities. Publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and present at national/international conferences. Assist in departmental administration and collaborate with fellow faculty on inter-disciplinary initiatives.

Stay updated with current developments in the field of English studies. Skills and Competencies:Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong classroom management and student engagement capabilities.

Proficiency in curriculum design and use of technology in teaching. Commitment to academic excellence, ethical values, and lifelong learning.
