Based in Jalandhar, we specialize in UAV-based spraying, mapping, farm data collection, and precision agri solutions across Punjab. We are expanding our agri-services team and invite skilled Agri Drone Pilots to work with us on a flexible, contract-based model.

Position Overview

We are seeking certified, responsible, and field-ready Agri Drone Pilots to operate agriculture-spraying and mapping drones for our clients across Punjab. As an independent contractor, you will handle field operations, ensure safe flying practices, maintain equipment, and deliver accurate service results.

Key Responsibilities

Drone Operations

• Operate agriculture-spraying drones (10L–30L capacity) and survey/mapping UAVs.
• Conduct pre-flight checks, flight planning, calibration, battery management, and safe takeoff/landing.
• Execute pesticide, fertilizer, and micronutrient spraying on farmland as per client requirements.
• Perform aerial surveys for NDVI mapping, yield analysis, and field assessment (if required).

Field Management

• Coordinate with farmers, local partners, and the Martianis operations team for smooth service delivery.
• Manage on-site logistics including water supply, chemical mixing (if trained), and field safety.

Data & Reporting

• Collect flight logs, service reports, and basic mapping data.
• Submit reports digitally through the company's app or standard formats.

Equipment Care

• Ensure regular cleaning, maintenance, firmware updates, and safe transportation of drones.
• Report technical issues to the Martianis engineering team immediately.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for Small or Medium Category (Aeroplane/Multirotor).
• Hands-on experience in flying agri-spraying drones.
• Ability to travel across Punjab for assignments.
• Strong understanding of drone safety procedures & airspace rules.
• Physically fit to handle field conditions.
• Responsible, punctual, and professional behaviour.

Preferred

• Experience with Agri-drone brands (Kisan Drone, Garuda, IoTech, Dhaksha, etc.).
• Experience in chemical mixing or agricultural fieldwork.
• Basic technical knowledge: battery care, rotor replacement, troubleshooting.
• Ability to explain services to farmers.

Contract Type & Compensation

• Independent Contractor (Freelance Model)
• Compensation based on:
• Per-Acre / Per-Flight payout, or
• Per-Day Project Rate
• Opportunities for monthly retainership for high-performing pilots.
• Fuel/travel allowance for certain projects (as applicable).
• Seasonal incentives and performance bonuses.
