Description

The KPMG Global Services (KGS) Tax is a diverse team spread across multiple cities in India. We provide tax and compliance services to KPMG Firms globally. Our core services include Business Tax, Global Mobility, Indirect Tax, Global Transfer Pricing, Global Trade Compliance and Tax Technology delivered by our professionals, who are known for their technical acumen and business insights to deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

·Basic understanding of MCS process and work  closely with seniors for feedback & Trainings

·Basic understanding of CP's, letters of assignment, assignment balance sheets/  worksheets, payroll imports and CSOE's, Analyze data and prepare work papers based on professional standards

·Self Review of tasks completed

·Timely response to KGS seniors/US Offices in 1  business day

·Pro-active communication on PTO's and Work  status to PML/US counterparts.

·Status checks for  mailboxes

·Basic understanding of  KPMG tools and other  technology platforms like LINK E, Atlas, Orion,  GPM,LINK Go, SharePoint etc

·Timely submission of hours to appropriate client  codes in SYNC -understanding of financial  impacts

·Seek guidance from seniors regularly and learn from experiences

Qualifications

Educational qualifications

Minimum Master Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance

Mandatory  technical & functional skills


·Preferred a minimum of one year of experience in Global Mobility and Assignment services

·Ability to analyze basic tax, payroll and accounting information
