Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with 7 to 10 years of experience in cabinetry and furniture work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, assembling, installing and finishing a variety of furniture and cabinet items for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret drawings, measurements and designs for custom cabinetry and furniture.
• Manufacture, assemble, finish and install cabinets, wardrobes, shelving units, tables, chairs etc.
• Select, cut, fit and join wood, plywood, veneers, laminates and other materials.
• Operate relevant carpentry tools and machines safely and effectively (e.g., saws, routers, sanders, drills).
• Ensure quality finishes, smooth surfaces, proper joinery, correct alignments and functional hardware (hinges, slides, locks).
• Collaborate with design/estimation team to recommend materials or modifications for better quality or cost-efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment; perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• On-site installation work: travel to project locations as required in/around Dehradun region, interact professionally with clients, check for fitment, make adjustments.
• Meet deadlines and adhere to project schedules and budgets.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years, preferably up to 10 years, of carpentry experience focused on cabinetry and furniture manufacturing/installation.
• Proven competency in cabinet making, furniture making and finishing (including veneer/laminate work, joinery, hardware installation).
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings, plans, or sketches.
• Good knowledge of tools, machines and materials typically used in cabinetry/furniture workshops.
• Strong attention to detail, high quality standards, and a good sense of aesthetics.
• Strong problem-solving skills (e.g., fitting issues, material defects, on-site adjustments).
• Reliable, disciplined, good work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Dehradun region and perform installation work.
• Prior experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is preferred.
