Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution while working closely with senior partners and portfolio companies. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about start-ups, venture capital, and private investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis (DCF, comparable, precedent transactions) and scenario planning.
  • Support end-to-end transaction execution — from opportunity identification to closing.
  • Perform due diligence on start-ups, including market research, financial health assessment, and business model evaluation.
  • Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update investor and deal flow databases.
  • Collaborate with entrepreneurs to refine business models and fundraising pitches.
  • Track post-investment performance and assist in portfolio management reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA or CA preferred.
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate finance.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.
