Role Description

The Lead Power System Engineer role entails overseeing the planning, execution, and coordination of high voltage (HV) power projects, while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The professional in this full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru will design electrical systems, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include performing power system studies, working on grid connections, managing project timelines, mentoring junior team members, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Power System Analysis, HV Power System Design, and Electrical Engineering principles
  • Technical proficiency in Grid Connection Studies including load flow, fault level, and protection coordination
  • Strong background in using industry-standard software such as ETAP, PSCAD, and other electrical engineering tools
  • Familiarity with DNO & TSO requirements, and experience with both GIS and AIS systems
  • Project Management and team leadership skills, with a focus on delivering projects within time, budget, and safety guidelines
  • Sound knowledge of renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar power, and energy storage systems
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage
  • Willingness and capability to work at an on-site location in Bengaluru
