10. Remuneration (CTC) : Rs.22.00 Lakh per annum (negotiable for exceptionally suitable candidates)

Job Description: -

Role Objective:

To oversee, coordinate, and ensure successful implementation of BharatNet and other infrastructure projects such as CCTV, Surveillance, Smart City initiatives, and related assignments across Maharashtra, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and compliance with relevant guidelines and coordination with all Stakeholders including PIAs, OEMs, PMC and Government Authorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

2. Lead the end-to-end project implementation of BharatNet and other infrastructure projects across Maharashtra.

3. Develop district-wise project execution schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.

4. Ensure timely completion of network rollout as per standard Govt. guidelines.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

6. Supervise and mentor project engineers, field teams, and implementation contractors.

7. Conduct periodic reviews, site visits, and provide performance feedback to ensure delivery quality.

8. Facilitate coordination between Project Implementation Agencies (PIAs), OEMs, and system integrators.

9. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

10. Coordinate with OEMs for equipment delivery, installation, and acceptance testing (AT).

11. Collaborate with PMC/advisory consultants for project monitoring and progress validation.

12. Serve as the nodal contact for State Government officials and other stakeholders regarding project execution and issue resolution.

13. Quality Assurance & Compliance

14. Ensure all installations and network rollouts comply with Government standards, SLA requirements, and technical guidelines.

15. Oversee acceptance testing, defect rectification, and certification processes.

16. Monitor contractor/vendor adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

17. Project Monitoring & Reporting

18. Maintain project MIS, dashboards, and progress reports for senior management and Government authorities.

19. Provide regular project progress updates to higher authorities from Government bodies, the State IT Department, and other stakeholders.

20. Highlight delays, risks, and dependencies along with corrective action plans.

21. Budgeting & Cost Control

22. Track project budgets, expenditures, and cost variances.

23. Optimize resource utilization and ensure cost-effective deployment strategies.
24. Assist in financial closure, billing verification, and fund utilization reports

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of telecom/ICT infrastructure deployment (fiber optic, transmission, IP/MPLS, NMS).
• Proven ability to manage large-scale Government/PSU projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, MS Office suite, and project monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Government procurement, tendering, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in relevant infrastructure rollouts including OFC network, NOC operations, and SLA monitoring preferred.
