Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of work experience for a full-time position at Spandana Hospital in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering top-notch physiotherapy services using advanced therapeutic techniques to ensure optimal patient recovery and well-being. The role demands expertise in manual therapy, electrotherapy, and exercise prescription.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in physiotherapy practice with a strong track record of patient management and rehabilitation success.
  • Proven expertise in manual therapy (Mandatory skill) for the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Electrotherapy (Mandatory skill) to aid in pain management and muscle stimulation, promoting faster recovery in patients.
  • Exercise prescription (Mandatory skill) to design individualized exercise programs catering to specific patient needs and conditions.
  • Proficiency in dry needling techniques to release muscle tension and improve patient outcomes.
  • Familiarity with cupping therapy to enhance circulation and alleviate muscle pain.
  • Experience in kinesiology taping to provide support and stability to muscles and joints without hindering movement.
  • Knowledge in aquatic therapy to use buoyancy and resistance for effective low-impact rehabilitation.
  • Capability in conducting gait analysis to assess and prescribe corrective action for patient walking patterns.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' physical conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer manual therapy, electrotherapy, and exercise prescriptions as part of comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
  • Utilize advanced techniques such as dry needling, cupping, and kinesiology taping to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Implement aquatic therapy and other specialized methods to cater to varied patient needs and conditions.
  • Perform regular evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about self-care strategies and home exercise programs for sustained recovery.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy to ensure the application of best practices.
