Overview: The role of a Java/Dotnet/Mainframe/IT PM Scrum Team Lead is critical to the organization, as they are responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of software development projects, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions on time and within budget. This position plays a vital role in coordinating with stakeholders, guiding team members, and driving the successful completion of projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of software solutions using Java/Dotnet/Mainframe technologies
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional development and productivity
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute project tasks
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, software development methodologies, and best practices
  • Identify and address technical risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and help drive continuous improvement within the team
  • Act as a technical point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Java/Dotnet/Mainframe technologies
  • Support the resolution of technical challenges and escalations
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in software development using Java/Dotnet/Mainframe technologies
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire technical teams
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and tools
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions
  • Experience in managing projects with a focus on quality and delivery
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
  • Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/delivery
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with cloud technologies is desirable
