About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven DevOps Engineer with 46 years of professional expertise in managing, automating, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will take ownership of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployments, and AWS cloud operations, playing a key role in improving system scalability, reliability, and automation.

This position requires close collaboration with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to architect, deploy, and maintain production-grade systems with a strong focus on performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable containerized applications using Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure components including EC2, VPCs, IAM, RDS, ALB, and API Gateway.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
  • Architect secure and efficient networking for private and public applications within AWS.
  • Set up and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Cloud Watch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Manage ingress controllers, SSL certificates, and load balancing solutions (AWS ALB, Kong, NGINX Ingress).
  • Lead environment troubleshooting, performance optimizations, and deployment automation efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline build, release, and operational processes.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps practices, ensuring compliance with cloud security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Deep understanding of AWS services (EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, ALB, API Gateway).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
  • Strong grasp of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, NAT, VPN).
  • Proficiency in Git, YAML, JSON, and automated build systems.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools.
  • Experience working with API gateways like Kong or monitoring stacks like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, ELK, Loki).
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps frameworks and security compliance practices.
