Roles and Responsibilities: VBA Developer / Advanced Excel Analyst

• Participate actively in project planning, progress updates, and review sessions.
• Develop and maintain VBA code to connect Excel with external data sources such as SQL databases.
• Automate workflows by integrating Excel with other Office applications (e.g., Outlook).
• Cleanse, validate, and transform large datasets using advanced Excel formulas and VBA scripting.
• Consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for analysis.
• Design and build custom Excel user forms and interactive interfaces using VBA.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing VBA macros and Excel models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports to track business metrics.
• Implement robust error handling and design intuitive, user-friendly Excel tools.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
• Provide end-user support and conduct training sessions to enhance adoption and usability.

Candidate Profile:

• 4 to 7 years of proven experience in VBA development and advanced Excel functionalities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, managing relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and insurance domain experience (claims, underwriting) is an advantage.
