Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Project Expeditor for ongoing projects in Vadodara, Gujarat. The candidate must have strong expediting experience in Chemical, Pharma, Petrochemical, or similar process industries.
The role involves coordinating with vendors, tracking materials, resolving delays, monitoring documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of project-related items.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Track order status, manufacturing progress, inspection schedules, and dispatch plans.
- Review project documentation, PO requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with vendors for critical items, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate issues when required.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams, logistics, and procurement teams for expediting activities.
- Maintain expediting reports, dashboards, and project tracking MIS.
- Conduct vendor visits when required to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Ensure proper documentation for release notes, inspection clearance, and shipment approvals.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Engineering.
- Minimum 8–10+ years of expediting experience in:
- Chemical
- Pharma
- Petrochemical
- Or related process industries
- Strong vendor coordination, tracking, and documentation skills.
- Good communication and follow-up capabilities.
- Experience with engineering procurement workflows is preferred.
