Job Description – PRO In-Charge
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the hospital/healthcare sector.
- Communication: Proficiency in handling communication in multiple languages; excellent interpersonal and patient-handling skills.
Education:
- MBA with a specialization in Hospital Administration, or MSW (Master of Social Work)
Salary Range
- ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
(Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Position Overview
The PRO In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing patient relations, coordinating communication between various hospital departments, and ensuring that patient needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. The role also involves supporting the hospital's public relations activities and maintaining a positive institutional image.
Key Responsibilities – PRO In-Charge
Patient Relationship Management
- Ensure all patient queries, concerns, and requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
Departmental Coordination
- Act as the liaison between patients, hospital departments, doctors, and management to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
Handling Patient Admissions & Discharges
- Assist patients and attenders during admission, transfer, and discharge processes, ensuring clarity and comfort.
Complaint & Grievance Handling
- Receive, document, and resolve patient complaints in a timely manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintaining Service Quality
- Monitor patient satisfaction, identify service gaps, and coordinate improvements with relevant departments.
Public Relations & Hospital Image
- Support the hospital's public relations activities, maintain a positive image, and ensure professional representation at all times.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, grievances, and departmental communications; submit regular reports to management.
Guidance & Counseling
- Provide necessary information and emotional support to patients and families, ensuring a friendly and supportive environment.
Protocol & Policy Compliance
- Ensure all patient-handling procedures follow hospital policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
Support for Events & Activities
- Assist in organizing hospital events, awareness programs, and communication activities when required.
