Job Details and Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Design, code, unit test, debug and implement SAP ABAP applications.
  • Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches.
  • Proactively provide work status.
  • Follow development standards and methodology.
  • Ensure that documentation is properly maintained.
  • Support the change control process.
  • Conduct code reviews with peers.
  • Test, debug, implement, and document fixes.
  • Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Provide problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support.

Qualifications :

  • Typically a minimum 8+ years' experience in SAP application development, deployment, and support and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 5+ years related work experience.
  • Organizational, oral and written communications skills.
  • Hands-on ABAP experience.
  • Experience working with OData services and Restful API's
  • Team player willing to engage and work with other team members.
  • Track record of successfully supporting business capabilities.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Level:

  • Proven experience as an ABAP Developer, with a strong understanding of SAP systems. Proficiency in ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. Knowledge of SAP modules and business processes.
  • Strong database management skills, including experience with SQL. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and coding standards. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Relevant certifications in ABAP development or SAP are a plus.
  • Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.
