About the Role

A fast-growing NBFC in the electric vehicle financing space is looking for an experienced Sales & Collections professional to join as an Assistant Manager. The organization is an early mover in EV financing, having already supported over 5000 electric vehicles in India within the B2B segment. The retail finance division aims to finance more than 5000 electric three-wheeler L5 loaders in the next 12 months in collaboration with select OEMs.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who is proactive, analytical, and eager to contribute to the scale-up of electric mobility financing in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and strengthen partnerships with electric vehicle OEM officials and their dealer networks.
  • Directly source customers to increase retail finance market share in the assigned region.
  • Lead monthly sales planning with partners and manage the complete lead funnel.
  • Oversee end-to-end collections processes in coordination with partners and collection agencies.
  • Manage soft and hard collections effectively.
  • Operate comfortably in the local language to engage with customers, teams, and stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4–5 years of experience in retail lending – sales and collections.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an NBFC, handling retail loan sales and collections.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a go-getter attitude.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to translate field sales activities into accurate data using computer and mobile applications.
  • Preference for candidates with vehicle finance experience—new/used commercial vehicles or two-wheelers.
  • Experience in launching or selling new financial products is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for market engagement.
