Key Responsibilities Food Preparation

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes including stir-fries, noodles, soups, and dim sum
  • Marinate meats and vegetables using traditional Chinese techniques
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation

Kitchen Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Chinese kitchen section
  • Monitor inventory and request ingredients as needed
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Coordination

  • Work closely with sous chefs and other kitchen staff
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
  • Adapt recipes based on customer preferences or dietary needs

Quality Control

  • Taste and adjust seasoning to maintain authentic flavors
  • Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality
  • Innovate and introduce new Chinese dishes to the menu

Skills & Qualifications

  • Expertise in Chinese cooking techniques (e.g., wok cooking, steaming, braising)
  • Knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines (e.g., Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Minimum education: 10th pass (preferred)
  • Experience: 2–5 years in a Chinese kitchen

Work Conditions

  • Shifts: Rotational, including weekends and holidays
  • Environment: Hot kitchen, fast-paced, team-oriented
