Product Security Engineer II will develop security features, and monitor the environment for risks with necessary reporting to stakeholders.  Will provide support on security assessments, bug bounty and customer submissions, and Engineering security needs.  Will also engage in knowledge sharing sessions with peers and across the Engineering and Infosec departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Build and maintain security capabilities for Appian's products and cloud environments
2) Triage, report, and escalate incidents/threats/issues to stakeholders
3) Conduct security architecture reviews on product features and infrastructure with appropriate guidance from senior team members
4) Provide guidance on security best practices, threat modeling, pentest findings, and customer inquiries
5) Lead training sessions with peers within team and across Engineering, and collaborate on complex problems

Education
Bachelor's Degree
