Job Title: Finance Supervisor (Hotel / Hospitality)
The Finance Supervisor supports the hotel's financial operations by supervising daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and assisting with budget preparation, cost control, and financial reporting. This role ensures compliance with hotel policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and review daily revenue reports, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Compile financial statements and management reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy of journals, accruals, and adjustments.
2. Revenue & Cash Management
- Monitor daily income audit and ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Review cashier reports, payments, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with cash-handling and credit policies.
3. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Support preparation of annual operating budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor expenses and provide variance analysis versus budget.
- Work with departments to improve financial efficiency and cost control.
4. Compliance & Internal Control
- Ensure internal controls and hotel financial policies are followed.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
5. Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise accounting staff, providing training and guidance.
- Review work accuracy and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments on financial matters.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Good leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
