Job Description: Route Sales DriverJob Summary:

A Route Sales Driver is responsible for delivering products to assigned customers along a specific route while maintaining strong customer relationships, managing inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role involves driving a company vehicle, merchandising products, and promoting sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery & Sales
  • Deliver products to customers along an established route.
  • Ensure accurate and timely deliveries according to the schedule.
  • Customer Service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
  • Provide product recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Inventory & Merchandising
  • Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle.
  • Maintain proper stock levels and rotate inventory to prevent spoilage.
  • Arrange and display products according to company merchandising standards.
  • Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety and traffic regulations while driving.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in route sales, delivery driving, or customer service is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift and carry products (may vary by company).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

  • Frequently required to drive for extended periods.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions while delivering products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹16,000.00 per month
