Job Overview: A Print Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that printed materials meet high standards of quality and are produced according to customer specifications. Responsibilities: Examine printed materials for defects like color inconsistencies, misalignments, and imperfections. Review proofs either online or PDF and compare them with final products to verify accuracy.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timelines and specifications are met. Document quality control procedures, issues, and resolutions. Provide feedback and suggest improvements to reduce quality errors.
Develop training programs to improve quality assurance skills within the team. Report on quality control metrics and improvement initiatives to senior management. Qualifications: Several years of experience in print quality assurance or print production.
Strong knowledge of print quality control processes. Understanding knowledge of typography and colors in print product. Familiarity with print software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Acrobat) is an added advantage.
Ability to work effectively with production teams. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
