Role: SAP ABAP DeveloperExperience: 2 YearsLocation: Bangalore (Hybrid Mode)Notice period: Immediate JoinerJob Description:We are seeking a skilled SAP IS-U ABAP Developer to join our team, with strong technical capabilities and a fair understanding of functional processes in the Utilities domain. The ideal candidate will work within the SAP IS-U ecosystem, which includes core IS-U modules, integration with front-end tools, customer engagement platforms like SAP C4C, and web-based services.
About the SAP IS-U Ecosystem:In this role, you'll be working in a dynamic environment that includes:Core SAP IS-U modules (Billing, Device Management, Contracts, etc.)SAP C4C for UtilitiesIntegration frameworks like web services, OData, and SAP PI/PO or SAP CPIModern ABAP technologies (CDS Views, AMDP, RAP)Key Responsibilities:Develop, enhance, and support ABAP applications in SAP IS-U.Build and optimize CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and RAP-based services. Design and implement web services (SOAP, REST, OData) for integration with internal and external systems. Work on enhancement points using BADIs, User Exits, and other enhancement techniques.
Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze requirements and provide end-to-end technical solutions. Troubleshoot performance issues and perform root cause analysis in the IS-U landscape. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code.
Required Skills:Proven experience in ABAP development for SAP IS-U.Good understanding of utilities functional processes. Proficiency in CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP.Strong skills in implementing web services and OData APIs. Hands-on experience with the Enhancement Framework.
Debugging, optimization, and clean code principles. Preferred Skills:Experience with SAP C4C for Utilities and customer data integration. Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 for front-end development or integration.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and embedded analytics. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Optional: SAP IS-U or SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
