Responsibilities :

Recruitment Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to attract top talent, including educators, administrators, and support staff.
  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle for roles at various levels.
  • Create compelling job descriptions and interview questions aligned with institutional needs.

Sourcing and Candidate Engagement:

  • Source candidates through diverse channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other recruiting events.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
  • Cultivate long-lasting relationships with educational institutions and professional networks.

Screening and Assessment:

  • Review applications and conduct interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define selection criteria and ensure a uniform selection process.

Candidate Experience and Onboarding:

  • Ensure a positive and seamless experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage offer negotiations and collaborate with HR and department leads for smooth onboarding.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure the recruitment process complies with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate information, and interview notes.
  • Track key hiring metrics and use data to improve efficiency.

Employer Branding:

  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to build the institution's employer brand.
  • Participate in job fairs and other events to promote the institution as an employer of choice.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree in Human Resources (MBA/PGDM in HR) or a related field often preferred.
  • Experience: Typically 2-5 years of relevant experience in end-to-end recruitment, with prior experience in academic or education sector hiring being a strong advantage.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Strong understanding of academic structures and institutional hiring frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities, with an emphasis on empathy and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage high-volume hiring and balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
