What The Role Offers
We are seeking motivated, curious and high potential development engineers to join our automation team. Our teams are focused on transforming Enterprise Information Management through Artificial Intelligence and Automation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on real-world AI applications that improve how OpenText engages with customers.
As an Associate Consultant, you will work hands-on in building and deploying machine learning models, working on structured and unstructured data, and contributing to scalable AI solutions that support critical business decisions.
What You Need To Succeed
- Work in the automation, AI and Analytics practice in professional services team
- Assist in developing AI models for document classification, metadata tagging, and intelligent search. Work on real-time AI/ML/DS use cases across business functions
- Support the integration of NLP and machine learning models into enterprise content management systems.
- Collaborate with senior developers, data scientists and stakeholders to build and test AI-powered features.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and automation scripts to streamline workflows.
- Document work with clarity to support future scaling or product ionization
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computers science, Electronics and Communication Engineering & other with Artificial Intelligence, Data Science & Machine Learning
- 6 months to 1 year experience in Python/Java
- Exposure to REST APIs or web development.
- Familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, spaCy, Hugging Face)
- Exposure to natural language processing (NLP) concepts and techniques
- Familiar with databases (like MySQL, Oracle, PL/SQL etc.) and data visualizations tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Stay up to date with AI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to information management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills & Good communication and collaboration abilities
Nice To Have (Not Required)
- Internship or academic project experience in AI, ML, or Data Science.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of information management systems or digital libraries.
- Knowledge of AngularJS/ReactJS Frontend technologies
