We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance & Accounts Manager to lead our finance function, oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial planning for the organisation. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in financial services, including compliance, taxation, and reporting requirements specific to the IT sector.

1. Financial Management

  • Manage end-to-end finance operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
  • Support strategic decision-making with financial insights and analysis.

2. Accounting Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Review general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balance.
  • Ensure timely closing of monthly and annual accounts.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.

3. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations: GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other applicable laws.
  • Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors; provide required documentation.
  • Ensure timely filing of all financial and tax returns.
  • Maintain proper financial documentation for audit readiness.

4. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
  • Allocate tasks, review performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, HR, and leadership teams.
  • 5. Reporting & MIS
  • Provide periodic MIS reports for management review.
  • Prepare variance analysis, cost tracking, and budget vs actual reports.
  • Assist in financial modeling, business planning, and forecasting exercises.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Excel & financial reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
  • B.Com / M.Com with strong relevant experience may also apply.
  • 7–12+ years of experience in finance & accounts with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
