Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
- Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other project-related information).
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and prepare blueprints that meet technical specifications.
- Assess potential risks, required materials, and project costs.
- Provide expert advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems or deficiencies.
- Oversee and mentor staff while liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
- Hand over completed structures and services for operational use.
- Monitor project progress and compile detailed status reports.
- Manage budgets and oversee the procurement of equipment and materials.
- Ensure compliance with all guidelines, regulations, permits, and safety standards while delivering technical files and other required documentation.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven working experience in civil engineering.
- Mandatory: Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Experience with design and visualization software such as Civil 3D or similar tools will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
- Strong project management and supervision skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Commercial awareness with expertise in estimation and budgeting.
- Ability to work in a team and build strong professional relationships.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective stakeholder management and ability to get work executed on time.
- A keen eye for detail and quality.
