Informatica Migration Developer - PowerCenter to IDMC.

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune

Employment Type : Full-Time

Experience : 5- 8 years

Role Overview :

We are hiring skilled Informatica Developers to support the migration of ETL assets from PowerCenter to IDMC. You'll be responsible for redesigning, testing, and optimizing data pipelines in a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Migrate existing PowerCenter mappings, workflows, and sessions to IDMC.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Cloud
  • Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance.
  • Conduct unit testing and validation of migrated components
  • Collaborate with team leads and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Document technical designs and migration artifacts

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 5+ years of ETL/BI/Data Engineering experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Informatica IDMC/CDI-PC/CDI/DQ/CMI.
  • Proven track record in large-scale migration projects.
  • Deep understanding of ETL design patterns, parameterization, scheduling (Autosys/Control-M), and performance tuning.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Synapse). (Optional)
  • Familiarity with Git integration, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD in IDMC. (Optional)
  • Strong knowledge of data validation techniques and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Secure Agent setup, HA configurations, and networking (VPN, Direct Connect, Private Link).
  • Exposure to data governance, masking, and security compliance (PII/PCI/PHI).
