An Equity Derivatives and Commodities Derivatives Analyst analyzes complex financial instruments, providing insights and recommendations to guide trading and risk management strategies for the firm. The job requires a blend of strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and quantitative expertise to evaluate financial data and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

* Financial and Quantitative Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis on derivatives like Equity , Equity Future and commodities future.

* Trading and Strategy Support: Work closely with traders and portfolio managers to provide data-driven insights. This involves researching market trends, identifying trading opportunities, and contributing to the design and implementation of trading strategies.

* Risk Management: Monitor and assess the various risks associated with derivatives portfolios, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk. A crucial part of this is ensuring the firm's strategies align with internal risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

* Market Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with global economic data, market movements, and geopolitical events that could impact the underlying assets (equities and commodities).

* Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, risk exposures, and market insights for senior management and other stakeholders. You'll need to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

* Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field like Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science is typically required.

* Strong Analytical and Quantitative Skills: You'll need an exceptional ability to analyze complex datasets, build financial models, and interpret quantitative information.

  • * Financial and Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of financial markets, particularly in equities and/or commodities, is essential. This includes knowledge of supply and demand fundamentals for commodities and an understanding of market mechanics.
